Identify a list of anchor businesses that may be a fit for <br />larger spaces in the Downtown. These anchor <br />businesses draw patrons on a regular basis and <br />support in-line boutique stores. <br />5. Schedule semi-annual meetings of organizations and <br />groups involved in Downtown events and programs to <br />coordinate efforts to implement the Downtown Retail <br />Plan. <br />6. Update retail market information on a timely basis. <br />7. Identify and implement best practices used by <br />comparable downtowns for attracting, retaining, and <br />strengthening retail. <br />Review in Conjunction with a <br />1. Study potentially expanding the area in the Downtown <br />Visioning Process for the <br />District that requires active ground floor uses beyond <br />Downtown/City core <br />those designated in the Precise Plan. <br />2. Create an active community of visitors, workers and <br />Timeline: In the next 24 to 36 <br />residents in the downtown core via a balanced <br />months <br />approach of new housing, retail and office. <br />3.
