Continue to maintain two-hourparking on Broadway and consider expanding two-hour <br />parking on Main St. (Task Force Recommendation) <br />Recommendations: <br />1. Create parking areas designated for retail shopping only (not employees), possibly with <br />tiered pricing. <br />2. Create close -in parking for patrons with mobility issues. <br />3. Develop a pro -active employee parking programs that will free up spaces at a lower rate <br />close to businesses especially during weekdays before 6 p.m. <br />4. Request spaces in privately owned parking structures for use by employees of Downtown <br />businesses during day and evening hours to free up spaces in the Downtown Core area. <br />S. Designate 30 minute spaces in front of quick serve type coffee shops and cafes. <br />6. Consider extending the two hour parking to Main St. <br />7. Evaluate other areas of the Downtown to determine the need for loading zones <br />8. Explore amending public parking agreements in new developments to allow additional <br />public parking during weekday daytime hours. <br />
