Your application is for a Use Permit and an Architectural Permit to modify an existing wireless <br />telecommunications facility located on property that is owned by the City of Redwood City at 555 <br />California Way. Wireless communications facilities are permitted under Article 38.3 of the City of <br />Redwood City Zoning Code with the approval of a Use Permit, and under Article 38.5 with the approval <br />of an Architectural Permit. The subject property is comprised of approximately 105,100 square feet and <br />is located within the Residential Hillside /20,000 square -foot minimum lot size (RH -20) Zoning District. <br />The existing facility consists of one (1) 18 -foot tall monopole and a 10 ft. x 16 ft. equipment shelter <br />enclosed by a 6 -foot high chain link fence located adjacent to a water tank.
