05/24/2010 <br /> EXHIBIT D <br /> NOTICE OF ELECTION AND HEARING <br /> SEAPORT CENTRE MAINTENANCE DISTRICT <br /> NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Manager's Report and the Engineer's Report <br /> (collectively, the "Reports") for Seaport Center Landscape Maintenance District (the <br /> "District"), the boundaries of which are shown on Exhibit"A," which is on file in the office <br /> of the City Clerk, City Hall, 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, California. The <br /> Reports include the basis and formula for the benefit assessments proposed to be <br /> levied upon parcels of real property within the District, in proportion to the special <br /> benefits derived by each such parcel, and include the amounts to paid by the City in <br /> proportion to benefits conferred upon the public, generally. The Reports set forth the <br /> amounts to be provided in the budget for maintenance and operation, a description of <br /> each lot or parcel of property in the District, by legal description, Assessor's Parcel <br /> Number or other description sufficient to identify the same, and the maximum annual <br /> amounts of the assessments to be levied for the fiscal years ending June 30, 2010 <br /> through 2015. The Reports are available for public inspection at the above address. <br /> NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that a property owners' election, by mail ballot, <br /> shall be held on the question of approval of the levy of the benefit assessments.
