12/06/2010 <br /> 3. That the County has initiated demolition activities with respect to the existing <br /> improvements; <br /> 4. That the County has merged the four parcels comprising the Woodhouse <br /> Industrial Park Property into a single parcel; and <br /> 5. That the County has obtained approval from applicable agencies and utility <br /> providers of plans for relocation or removal and replacement of all utility conduits <br /> and facilities located with the Chemical Way right -of -way as may be required for <br /> County's development and use of the Woodhouse Industrial Park Property. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The recitals set forth above are true and correct, and are hereby <br /> incorporated herein by this reference as if fully set forth in their entirety. <br /> 2. The City Council declares its intention to vacate Chemical Way, the <br /> hereinafter described portion of Woodhouse Industrial Park Property, on the basis that it <br /> is unnecessary for present or prospective public purposes; <br /> 3. The City declares that, because the vacation will be conditioned upon <br /> County's satisfaction of conditions 1 through 5 set forth above, City does not intend to <br /> reserve a Public Services Easement (PSE) over the formerly existing street; <br /> 4. A noticed public hearing on the question of vacating Chemical Way, shall <br /> be held and evidence thereon received by the City Council on December 21, 2010; <br /> 5. The portion of Chemical Way to be vacated is more fully described in <br /> Exhibit 1 attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. <br /> 6.
