The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to compile the <br /> necessary data and conduct such investigations as necessary to prepare and submit <br /> an application to the California DWR to obtain SWFM Grant Funding pursuant to the <br /> Disaster Preparedness and Flood Prevention Bond Act of 2006 (Public Resource Code <br /> Section 5096.800 et seq.). <br /> 2.
