upon retirement or separation, to either or both of the 401 (a) plans that the City <br /> maintains. <br /> For the purposes of this section leave payouts shall be defined as vacation, in-lieu <br /> hours, administrative holidays and any eligible sick leave. <br /> Upon Council adoption of the benefits summary dated February 2005, all Executive <br /> Management personnel will participate in the City's payroll direct deposit program . <br /> LEAVE <br /> a. Vacation — Vacation accruals will be set by the City Manager based on years of <br /> service with City and total public sector years or years in the industry. <br /> Executive Management will accrue vacation based on years of service based on <br /> the following schedule: <br /> ® Date of Hire through the fourth year of service — 3 .077 hours per pay <br /> period, yields 80 hours of vacation per year). <br /> ® Fifth through the ninth year of service — 4.615 hours per pay period, <br /> yields 120 hours of vacation per year. <br /> e Tenth through the sixteen year of service — 6 . 154 hours per pay period, <br /> yields 160 hours of vacation per year. <br /> ® Seventeenth through the nineteenth year of service — 6.923 hour per pay <br /> period, yields 180 hours of vacation per year. <br /> • Twentieth and subsequent years of service — 7.692 hour per pay period, <br /> yields 200 hours of vacation per year. <br /> Vacation leave shall not be accumulated in excess of two (2) years accrued <br /> vacation leave computed to the 31St of December, except upon written <br /> authorization of the City Manager. <br /> ® XBBness During Vacation - An employee who commences a scheduled <br /> vacation period and subsequently becomes ill before his or her vacation <br /> period has been completed shall be placed on sick leave. <br /> A <br />
