DES :djk 05/20/96 (116/41) <br /> <br /> ~ 0 R I G I N A L ~ 6/10/96 <br /> <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 12790 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> PURCHASE DOCUMENTS FOR THE PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF <br /> THREE (3) TRUCK BODIES <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2.65 of the Code of the City of <br />Redwood City, the City Manager solicited written bids without <br />public advertisement for the purchase and installation of three <br />(3) truck bodies; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation two bids were <br />received; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Western Truck Fab of San Carlos, California, is the <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the desire and intention of <br /> <br />this Council to accept the bid of said Western Truck Fab; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Western Truck Fab of San Carlos, California, <br />in the amount of Forty-two Thousand Four Hundred Eighty-five and <br />21/100 Dollars ($42,485.21) computed in accordance with said <br />bidder's proposal dated April 30, 1996, for the purchase and <br />installation of three (3) truck bodies is hereby accepted, and <br />said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br />responsible bidder for said purchase. <br /> <br /> 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br />execute all necessary or appropriate documents (in form approved <br />by the City Attorney) for and on behalf of the City of Redwood <br />city to effectuate said purchase and installation of three (3) <br />truck bodies approved hereby. <br /> <br /> <br />
