Copies of the notice of public hearing, <br /> which includes a map showing the area proposed to be vacated, and proposed resolution of <br /> intent to vacate are enclosed. <br /> The City and Kaiser have worked together over the last several months to accommodate an <br /> emergency drop-off area and entrance for Kaiser's new hospital under construction in Redwood , <br /> City. The City proposes to vacate approximately 12,400 square feet of existing City right-of-way <br /> along a portion of Walnut Street. On October 24, 2011 the City Council of City of Redwood City <br /> � will consider adoption of a Resolution of notice of intent to Vacate a portion of Walnut Street, a <br /> City right-of-way dedicated and accepted for public use, and Acceptance for the Dedication of a <br /> public utility easement to the City. A Public Hearing on this matter is expected to be set no <br /> sooner than December 12, 2011 at 7pm in City Council Chambers. <br /> Further details regarding the conditions to effectiveness of the vacation are set forth in the <br /> enclosed resolution of intent to vacate. <br /> As soon as utility plans for this project become available, they will be sent to you for review and <br /> approval.
