03/19/2012 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 15174 <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY AMENDING THE CITY'S CLASSIFICATION PLAN <br /> TO ESTABLISH THE POSITION OF ASSISTANT PUBLIC WORKS <br /> DIRECTOR <br /> WHEREAS, the existing Public Works Services department has been <br /> reorganized to be included as a division within the Community Development <br /> Department; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Manager has requested that the position of Assistant Public <br /> Works Director be established to oversee the Public Works Maintenance division of the <br /> Community Development Department; and <br /> WHEREAS, the classification specifications of Assistant Public Works Director <br /> were prepared by the Human Resources Department and the City Manager to ensure <br /> the foreseeable needs of the organization were met; and <br /> WHEREAS, it was determined that the Assistant Public Works Director <br /> classification will be an executive management position and established with a pay <br /> range of $11,464 to $13,609 per month; <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The recitals set forth above are true and correct and are hereby <br /> incorporated by this reference as if fully set forth in their entirety. <br /> 2.
