04/09/2012 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 15183 <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY AUTHORIZING APPLICATION TO THE LOCAL AGENCY <br /> FORMATION COMMISSION REQUESTING APPROVAL FOR <br /> EXTENSION OF WATER SERVICE OUTSIDE JURISDICTIONAL <br /> BOUNDARIES PURSUANT TO GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION <br /> 56133 <br /> WHEREAS, the property located at 698 Edgecliff Way, Unincorporated San <br /> Mateo County, California (APN 068-194-260) (the "Property"), is outside the City's <br /> jurisdictional boundaries, but inside City's sphere of influence and water service area; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo is processing an application for a building <br /> permit to construct a new single family home at the Property that requires water service <br /> from the City of Redwood City; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Property owner has requested that the City of Redwood City <br /> provide water service to the Property; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City may provide new water service outside its jurisdictional <br /> boundaries only if it first requests and receives written approval from the Local Agency <br /> Formation Commission in San Mateo County. <br /> WHEREAS, this project is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act <br /> under State CEQA Guidelines, Section 15303. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> ATTY/RES0.2208/698 EDGECLIFF WAY EXTENSION OF WATER SERVICE RESO. # 15183 <br /> REV:02-29-12 MUFF # 802 <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br />
