09/10/2012 <br /> WHEREAS, the City Manager requires authorization to enter into a Side Letter <br /> Agreement to memorialize the creation of the two-tier salary plan, and modifications to <br /> the existing Exit Incentive Program. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. Amend the City's Classification Plan to establish the classification of Deputy <br /> Police Chief (Executive Management) which is attached hereto as Exhibit A. <br /> 2. Amend the City's Classification Plan to revise the classification of Police <br /> Captain (Executive Management) which is attached hereto as Exhibit B. <br /> 3. Amend the City's Salary Plan to establish a two-tier salary structure for the <br /> Police Lieutenant and Police Sergeant classifications. <br /> 4.
