1/29/2014 <br /> WHEREAS,TA requires a governing board resolution from the City in support of the City's <br /> application for$976,780 in San Mateo County Measure A Pedestrian and Bicycle Program funds for the <br /> Safe Routes to School Improvement Project, and <br /> WHEREAS,TA requires a governing board resolution from the City committing the City to the <br /> completion of the Safe Routes to School Improvement Project, including the commitment of any <br /> matching funds needed for implementation, and <br /> NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City Redwood City <br /> 1. Directs staff to submit an application for TA Measure A Pedestrian and Bicycle Program funds for <br /> $976,780 for the Safe Routes to School Improvement Project. <br /> 2. Authorizes the City Manager to execute a funding agreement with the San Mateo County <br /> Transportation Authority to encumber any TA Measure A Pedestrian and Bicycle Program funds <br /> awarded. <br /> 3.
