02/10/2014 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 15326 <br /> A RESOLUTION AMENDING SALARIES FOR THE APPOINTED <br /> POSITIONS OF CITY MANAGER, CITY ATTORNEY, AND CITY CLERK <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to its authority, the Redwood City Council periodically <br /> determines whether to make adjustments to the salary and compensation plan for the <br /> City Council appointed positions of City Manager, City Attorney, and City Clerk; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Redwood City Council has approved amendments to the <br /> Executive Management Summary of Benefits, which includes increased employee <br /> contributions to the City's share of pension and elimination of employer-paid member <br /> contributions and which are applicable to the City Manager, City Attorney, and City <br /> Clerk; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Redwood City Council authorized no salary increases for these <br /> appointed positions in 2012-2013 and wishes to acknowledge the increase in pension <br /> contributions, as well as increases in cost of living. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The base compensation for the positions of City Manager, City Attorney, <br /> and City Clerk shall each be increased by the sum of three percent (3%) <br /> retroactively and effective the first day of the first pay period following July <br /> 1, 2013; and <br /> 2.
