RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY 1) ACCEPTING THE HAZARD MITIGATION GRANT PROGRAM AWARD OF $3, 000, 000 FOR A TOTAL PROJECT BUDGET OF $4, 083, 355 FROM THE FEDERAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY (FEMA) AND THE CALIFORNIA GOVERNOR'S OFFICE OF EMERGENCY SERVICES (CAL OES) AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE GRANT AWARD AGREEMENT AND RELATED CONTRACT DOCUMENTS; 2) INCREASING FISCAL YEAR 2013-2014 CAPITAL OUTLAY FUND REVENUES AND EXPENDITURES BY $3, 000, 000 TO ACCOMMODATE THE GRANT

03/10/2014 <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept the grant, authorize the City <br /> Manager to execute the Grant Award Agreement, and amend the revenues and <br /> expenditures of the City Fiscal Year 2013-2014 Capital Outlay Fund budget to <br /> accommodate the grant and project construction fund in order to facilitate the 5tn <br /> Avenue Pump Station Improvement Project. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The City Council of the City of Redwood City hereby accepts the Hazard <br /> Mitigation Program grant award of $3,000,000 from the Federal Emergency <br /> Management Agency (FEMA) and the California Governor's Office of Emergency <br /> Services (Cal OES); and authorizes the City Manager to execute the Grant Award <br /> Agreement and related contract documents. <br /> 2. Fiscal Year 2013-2014 Capital Outlay Fund revenue budget shall be <br /> increased by $3,000,000 and <br /> 3. Fiscal Year 2013-2014 Capital Outlay Fund expenditure budget shall be <br /> increased by $3,000,000.
