RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY 1) ACCEPTING THE CONSTRUCTION PHASE OF THE SAFE ROUTES TO SCHOOL GRANT AWARD OF $578, 000 FOR A GRANT AWARD OF $634, 500 FROM THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION (CALTRANS) AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE RELATED CONTRACT DOCUMENTS; 2) INCREASING FISCAL YEAR 2014-2015 VARIOUS TRANSPORTATION GRANTS REVENUES AND EXPENDITURES BY $578, 000 TO ACCOMMODATE THE GRANT

07/28/2014 <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept the grant, and amend the <br /> revenues and expenditures of the City Fiscal Year 2014-2015 Various Transportation <br /> Grants Fund budget to accommodate the grant in order to facilitate the Hoover Safe <br /> Routes to School Project. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The City Council of the City of Redwood City hereby accepts the Safe <br /> Routes to School Grant construction phase award grant award of $578,000 from the <br /> California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) and authorizes the City Manager <br /> to execute related contract documents. <br /> 2. Fiscal Year 2014-2015 Various Transportation Grants Fund revenue <br /> budget shall be increased by $578,000; and <br /> 3. Fiscal Year 2014-2015 Various Transportation Grants Fund expenditure <br /> budget shall be increased by $578,000.
