Prepare a variety of written documents and reports including job specifications, job <br /> announcements, classification and salary reports, surveys, examinations, <br /> administrative procedures and training materials. <br /> 3. Plan, and conduct and administer recruitment selection procedures, develop and <br /> recommend appropriate outreach and selection methodologies, ensure compliance <br /> with federal, state and local laws pertaining to hiring and employment. <br /> 4. Plan, develop, administer and coordinate various City-wide programs such as <br /> training, equal employment opportunity, performance management and workforce <br /> planning; work closely with departments to ensure goals and objectives of the <br /> program meet the operational needs of the City. <br /> 5. Analyze City-wide and departmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance <br /> with state and federal laws, regulations and City policies; monitor changes in the <br /> laws and regulations, evaluate their impact upon City activities and make <br /> recommendations for compliance. <br /> 6. Assist in the investigation of alleged employee misconduct or complaints of <br /> discrimination, including research, analysis, and coordination of investigatory <br /> procedures. <br /> 7. Assist managers and supervisors with employee relations matters including the <br /> interpretation and application of policies and labor agreements, facilitate problem <br /> identification and resolution for routine or less complex matters not requiring the <br /> assistance of a senior analyst. <br /> 8. Compile, synthesize and summarize a variety of data to prepare periodic and <br /> special reports related to assigned functions; prepare correspondence and a variety <br /> of reports and written materials; maintain accurate records and files. <br /> 9. Provide analytical support to senior staff in labor negotiations and contract <br /> administration, including research, data analysis, correspondence, and <br /> implementation of negotiated agreements. <br /> 10. Respond to requests for information from employees, management, outside <br /> agencies and the public as appropriate. <br /> OTHER JOB RELATED DUTIES <br /> 1.
