ORIGINAL <br /> FIRST AMENDMENT TO CITY CLERK EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT <br /> This FIRST AMENDMENT to the EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT (dated December <br /> 17, 2007) between the City of Redwood City, a Charter City and Municipal Corporation of the <br /> State of California ( "City ") and Silvia Vonderlinden ("Employee") is entered into as of the 7th <br /> day of October, 2014. <br /> WHEREAS, in conformance with its performance review and compensation program for <br /> its appointees, the City Council has evaluated salary survey data of comparable positions in <br /> benchmark cities, and wishes to adjust Employee's salary accordingly as well as acknowledge <br /> benefit concessions, and Employee's performance. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants contained in the original <br /> Agreement and as provided herein, Section 2 of the Agreement is AMENDED to read as <br /> follows: <br /> 1. Employee shall receive a salary of $10,535 effective the first day of the first pay <br /> period following July 1, 2014. The City Council will conduct a performance <br /> evaluation at least annually and may adjust Employee's annual salary based upon her <br /> performance.
