07/27/2015 ORIGINAL RESOLUTION NO. 15429 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY STATING ITS INTENTION TO MODIFY THE MANAGEMENT DISTRICT PLAN OF THE DOWNTOWN REDWOOD CITY COMMUNITY BENEFIT IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT TO REMOVE CERTAIN PARCELS AND SETTING A TIME AND PLACE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING WHEREAS, the Downtown Redwood City Community Benefit Improvement District (the "District") has been established by the City pursuant to the Redwood City Community Benefit Improvement District Procedural Ordinance (Chapter 31 of the Redwood City Municipal Code), which incorporates most provisions of the Property and Business Improvement District Law of 1994 (Streets & Highways Code §§ 36600 et seq.) (the "Law"); and WHEREAS, the Redwood City Improvement Association ("RCIA") serves as the Owner's Association for the District; and WHEREAS, Section 36635 of the Law provides that RCIA may, at any time, request that the City Council modify the Management Districf Plan governing the District (the "MDP"); and WHEREAS, the City has received a written request from RCIA to modify the MDP to remove from the District certain condominium parcels located in a building that was not completely included within the boundaries of the District; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to initiate proceedings to approve this modification. NOW THEREFORE, the City of Redwood City City Council hereby resolves the following: Section 1. The City Council hereby proposes to modify the MDP to remove the following parcels from the District: 111 810 010 — 1090 Main Street, #101 111 810 020 — 1090 Main Street, #102 111 810 030 — 1090 Main Street, #103 111 810 040 — 1090 Main Street, #104 111 810 050 — 1090 Main Street, #105 111 810 060 — 1090 Main Street, #106 111 810 070 — 1090 Main Street, #107; A copy of the proposed modified MDP is on file in the Office of the City Clerk, Page 1 of 3 ATTY/RES0.3113/CBID BOUNDARY MODIFICATION R01 RESO.#15429 REV:07-16-15 PT MUFF#506
