07/27/2015 <br /> WHEREAS, a notice of public hearing on the final Initial Study and Negative <br /> Declaration was duly published in the Daily News 10 days prior to the public hearing; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, at the July 27, 2015 public hearing, the City Council considered the <br /> whole of the record, including with respect to the Initial Study Checklist and Negative <br /> Declaration dated May 27, 2014 and any public comments received during the public <br /> review period. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1. The recitals set forth above are true and correct, and are hereby <br /> incorporated herein by this reference as if fully set forth in their entirety. <br /> Section 2. The proposed amendments have been reviewed with respect to the <br /> applicability of the California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA") and the State CEQA <br /> Guidelines (California Code of Regulations, Title 14, Sections 15000 et seq.). The City <br /> Council has considered Initial Study Checklist and Negative Declaration, which found no <br /> significant environmental effects as a result of the proposed changes, and any public <br /> comments received during the public review period. On the basis of the whole record <br /> before it, the City Council finds that there is no substantial evidence that the project will <br /> have a significant effect on the environment and that the negative declaration reflects <br /> the Council's independent judgment and analysis. Pursuant to Guidelines section <br /> 15074(c), the documents and other materials that constitute the record of proceedings <br /> upon which the City Council has based its decision are located in and may be obtained <br /> from the Office of the City Clerk at 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, California. <br /> The City Clerk is the custodian of records for all matters before the City. <br /> Section 4. The City Council of the City of Redwood City adopts the Initial Study <br /> Checklist and Negative Declaration. <br /> Section 5.
