11/16/2015 <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of Redwood City and the <br /> residents therein, that said structure be designated an Historic Landmark to <br /> assist in the preservation of such property; and <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br /> THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1. The above recitals constitute the findings of the City Council in <br /> this matter. <br /> Section 2. The City Council finds that the designation of an historic <br /> resource is categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act <br /> (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15308, Class 8, and Section 15331, Class 31 of the <br /> CEQA Guidelines. <br /> Section 3. The City Council hereby designates the structure located at <br /> 2302 Hopkins Avenue, Redwood City, California a Historic Landmark pursuant to <br /> the designation criteria listed in the City's Historic Preservation Ordinance. <br /> Section 4. The City Council directs staff to file all proper documents for <br /> recordation with the San Mateo County Clerk's Office. <br /> Section 5.
