1/11/2016 WHEREAS, the contributing historic resource that was once located on this site has been irreparably lost, cannot be replaced, and no longer contributes to the character of the Mezesville Historic District; and WHEREAS, 1016 Warren Street should be removed from the list of Contributors to the Mezesville Historic District; and WHEREAS, on June 11, 2015, the Historic Resources Advisory Committee held a duly noticed public hearing in accordance with all applicable requirements of the Redwood City Municipal Code and adopted HRAC Resolution No. 15-06, recommending that 1016 Warren Street be removed as a Contributor to the Mezesville Historic District; and WHEREAS, on August 4, 2015, the Planning Commission held a duly noticed public hearing in accordance with all applicable requirements of the Redwood City Municipal Code and adopted PC Resolution No. 15-15, recommending that 1016 Warren Street be removed as a Contributor to the Mezesville Historic District; and WHEREAS, on January 11, 2016, the City Council held a duly noticed public hearing in accordance with all applicable requirements of the Redwood City Municipal Code and fully reviewed, considered, and evaluated the staff reports and attachments, oral and written public testimony, and all other documents and evidence in the public record on the Project. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The property located at 1016 Warren Street, APN 052-258-110, is hereby removed as a "Contributor" to the Mezesville Historic District. The property is still located within the Mezesville Historic District and shall be considered non-contributing. Section 2. Pursuant to California Environmental Quality Act Section 15061 (b) (3), the action of removing the "Contributor" status of 1016 Warren Street is not a project under CEQA because removal of a designation or status from a non-existent resource would not cause a significant effect on the environment, nor would it have a detrimental effect on the character or integrity of the Mezesville Historic District.
