1/11/2016 <br /> WHEREAS, the contributing historic resource that was once located on this site <br /> has been irreparably lost, cannot be replaced, and no longer contributes to the <br /> character of the Mezesville Historic District; and <br /> WHEREAS, 1016 Warren Street should be removed from the list of Contributors <br /> to the Mezesville Historic District; and <br /> WHEREAS, on June 11, 2015, the Historic Resources Advisory Committee held <br /> a duly noticed public hearing in accordance with all applicable requirements of the <br /> Redwood City Municipal Code and adopted HRAC Resolution No. 15-06, <br /> recommending that 1016 Warren Street be removed as a Contributor to the Mezesville <br /> Historic District; and <br /> WHEREAS, on August 4, 2015, the Planning Commission held a duly noticed <br /> public hearing in accordance with all applicable requirements of the Redwood City <br /> Municipal Code and adopted PC Resolution No. 15-15, recommending that 1016 <br /> Warren Street be removed as a Contributor to the Mezesville Historic District; and <br /> WHEREAS, on January 11, 2016, the City Council held a duly noticed public <br /> hearing in accordance with all applicable requirements of the Redwood City Municipal <br /> Code and fully reviewed, considered, and evaluated the staff reports and attachments, <br /> oral and written public testimony, and all other documents and evidence in the public <br /> record on the Project. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1. The property located at 1016 Warren Street, APN 052-258-110, is <br /> hereby removed as a "Contributor" to the Mezesville Historic District. The property is still <br /> located within the Mezesville Historic District and shall be considered non-contributing. <br /> Section 2. Pursuant to California Environmental Quality Act Section 15061 (b) <br /> (3), the action of removing the "Contributor" status of 1016 Warren Street is not a <br /> project under CEQA because removal of a designation or status from a non-existent <br /> resource would not cause a significant effect on the environment, nor would it have a <br /> detrimental effect on the character or integrity of the Mezesville Historic District. <br /> Section 3.
