06/13/2016 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 15500 <br /> RESOLUTION SETTING JUNE 27, 2016 AS THE DATE FOR THE <br /> PUBLIC HEARING ON AND ADOPTION OF THE FISCAL YEAR 2016-17 <br /> BUDGET <br /> WHEREAS, Section 51.5 of the City Charter requires that the City Council <br /> establish a date for a public hearing on the upcoming fiscal year budget and establish, by <br /> resolution, a date for final adoption of such budget; and <br /> WHEREAS, the public hearing date and final adoption date of June 27, 2016 for <br /> the fiscal year 2016-17 budget was approved in concept at the June 13, 2016 City Council <br /> meeting. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. Pursuant to Section 51.5 of the Charter of the City of Redwood City, June <br /> 27, 2016 at 7:00 o'clock P.M., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, at City <br /> Hall, the City Council Chambers, 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, California, is <br /> hereby set as the time and place for a public hearing on the budget for fiscal year 2016- <br /> 17 and for final adoption of such budget. <br /> 2. The City Council directs that copies of the budget shall be filed with the City <br /> Clerk for inspection by the public. <br /> 3.
