What if there is more than one owner for the boat and only one of the owners occupies the boat – who gets assistance? If a Dwelling has more than one Owner and only one Owner is living aboard a Dwelling as their Primary Residence, the Owners would have to share in any proceeds of the Actual and Reasonable Moving Costs of Dwelling, Offer to Purchase of Non-Moveable Dwelling, Cost of Sale Reimbursement, and, if eligible, any Incentive Payment. If more than one Owner meets the definition of Senior, Low-Income, Veteran, or Disabled under the Plan, the Owners would also have to split the enhanced benefit of Replacement Marina Berth Rent. However, the Replacement Housing Payment enhanced benefit will be available only to the Owner who is living aboard the Dwelling as their Primary Residence and also meets the definition of Senior, Low-Income, Veteran or Disabled. Definition of "Owner" or "Ownership" revised to include multiple parties owning a Dwelling. Additional language has been added to Section 4 to address cases where multiple owners of a Dwelling are involved. Language has been added to items 6 and 7 under Relocation Assistance for Live Aboard Tenants. 5 Overall Plan Can we modify the Draft Docktown Plan? - Such as including funding to renovate municipal docks and use money for more docking space – take the $3M in relocation money to make the municipal marina facility larger – if you have a place The City Council can provide direction to modify the Docktown Plan. $3 million was set aside in the litigation settlement to address any environmental issues and to provide relocation assistance. The City is considering spending additional funds to pay for improvements at the Municipal Marina operated by the Port to support liveaboard uses at that Marina.
