01/23/2017 <br />• Policy BC -4.2: maximize public facility use by sharing with nonprofit <br />organizations, school districts and community organizations. <br />The General Plan amendment would provide an opportunity to expand on the current <br />shared use of facilities between the District and the City as stated above in response to <br />Policy BC -3.1. <br />Section 3. The City Council hereby approves the General Plan Amendment, as <br />illustrated in Exhibit A, to designate a portion of Sandpiper Park Public Facility (PF) for <br />the pump station and shared use of a new Sandpiper School classroom building based <br />on the City Council's consideration and reliance on the recommendation of the Planning <br />Commission, the Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration and in accordance with the <br />plans, details and descriptions contained therein, contained in the Resolution certifying <br />said MND and conditioned upon and subject to the Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting <br />Program. <br />Section 4.
