04/03/2017 <br />exposure of persons to pollutants in accordance with BAAQMD <br />adopted standards for control of odor/toxics for sensitive receptors. <br />More requirements and details of this mitigation measure are found in <br />Mitigation 12-1 of the DTPP EIR. [COA][BUILDING] <br />f. Odor Impacts of Mixed -Use Development (Mitigation 12-2) — The <br />applicant shall implement some or all of the following measures, to City <br />satisfaction, to reduce odors generated by food service uses <br />(consistent with the BAAQMD CEQA Air Quality Guidelines): integral <br />grease filtration or grease removal systems, baffle filters, electrostatic <br />precipitators, water cooling/cleaning units, disposable pleated or bag <br />filters, activated carbon filters, oxidizing pellet beds, catalytic <br />conversion, proper packaging and frequency of food waste disposal, <br />and exhaust stack and vent location with respect to receptors. More <br />details of this mitigation measure is found in Mitigation 12-2 of the <br />DTPP EIR. [COA][BUILDING] <br />g. Wildlife Movement and Impacts (Mitigation 15-3) — The applicant <br />shall hire a qualified biologist to conduct a survey for nesting birds <br />prior to tree removal or trimming, and submit the survey for filing. All tree <br />removal and trimming shall take place outside of the breeding season. <br />[COA][PLANNING] <br />h. Corrosive Soils Impacts (Mitigation 16-2) — Water systems and <br />other buried metal infrastructure shall have cathodic protection using a <br />sacrificial anode system. Design criteria for cathodic protection shall <br />conform to Part VII (G) of the City's water system design criteria and <br />stand specifications details Section 02661. Concrete mix designs <br />shall conform to California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) <br />Memo to Designers 10-5 January 2002 Protection of Reinforcement <br />Against Corrosion Due to Chlorides, Acids and Sulfates. <br />[COA][ENGINEERING] <br />i. Soil Erosion and Sedimentation (Mitigation 16-3) — The applicant <br />shall prepare erosion control plans subject to City approval and <br />consistent with the required project Stormwater Pollution Prevention <br />Plans (SWPPPs) as well as Best Management Practices (BMPs) <br />specified by the Redwood City Stormwater Management and <br />Discharge Control Program (Municipal Code Chapter 27A). The <br />plans and BMPs shall be implemented during construction as detailed <br />in Mitigation 16-3 of the DTPP EIR. [COA][ENGINEERING] <br />66. Downtown TDM — A final Transportation Demand Management (TDM) program, <br />describing the elements to be implemented, shall be reviewed and approved <br />prior to certificate of building occupancy. The TDM program shall include an <br />annual reporting requirement for the first three years that details overnight <br />parking utilization rates and resident use and awareness of the program. <br />Annual reporting shall be submitted on December 1 of each year following the <br />ATTY/RESO.0031/ CC RESO ADOPTING DENIAL OF APPEAL BY REDWOOD CITY RESIDENTS FOR RESPONSIBLE DEVELOPMENT <br />REV: 03-30-17 PR RESO.
