Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program — Hillside Alternative <br />Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program <br />Impact Mitigation Measure <br />exceeds Cal OSHA's permissible <br />exposure limit or is performed to <br />remediate a lead hazard must be <br />conducted by California Department of <br />Public Health certified personnel. All <br />lead related work shall be conducted <br />employing lead work practices in <br />accordance with United States <br />Department of Housing and Urban <br />Development (US HUD) guidelines. <br />Impact HAZ-1: The use or Mitigation Measure HAZ-2: Excavation <br />accidental release of <br />and grading shall avoid potential serpentine <br />hazardous materials at the <br />rock when feasible. If serpentine must be <br />project site could expose the <br />graded, the top 2 feet of soil shall be <br />public or environment to <br />replaced with clean soil, so as to avoid <br />significant hazards. <br />impacts from Naturally Occurring Asbestos <br />(NOA). Soils with NOA shall be removed <br />and disposed of at an appropriate facility, to <br />the satisfaction of the City Engineer. Dust <br />shall be suppressed during grading, and a <br />dust control plan to minimize exposure to <br />NOA (per the BAAQMD regulations) shall <br />be submitted to the County Health System's <br />Department Environmental Health. <br />NOISE <br />Implementation <br />and Timing <br />Implementation: <br />The City shall <br />incorporate this <br />hazards and <br />hazardous materials <br />mitigation measure <br />into all appropriate <br />bid, contract, and <br />engineering and site <br />plan (e.g. building, <br />grading, <br />improvement plans) <br />documents. <br />Timing: Prior to <br />any ground - <br />disturbing activities, <br />unless otherwise <br />specified. <br />Monitoring <br />Responsibility <br />Monitoring: The City's <br />Engineering Division <br />shall review all <br />appropriate bid, <br />contract, and <br />engineering and site <br />(building, grading, <br />improvement plans) <br />documents for inclusion <br />of this <br />hazards/hazardous <br />materials measure. <br />The City shall require a <br />report documenting the <br />process followed to <br />demolish the pump <br />station and properly <br />dispose of the <br />demolition debris. <br />Page 15 of 28 <br />ATTY/ RESO.0043/CC RESO HILLSIDE ALTERNATIVE PROJECT RESO.
