04/23/2018 <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to approve the Consolidated Plan, Annual Action <br />Plan, the Application for a Community Development Block Grant and Home Investment <br />Partnership Grant, and to authorize the execution of all documents pertaining thereto, <br />including all understandings and assurances connected therewith. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The Consolidated Plan, Annual Action Plan and Application prepared for <br />submission to the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development for a <br />Community Development Block Grant pursuant to Title I of the Housing and Community <br />Development Act of 1974, and the Home Investment Partnership Program pursuant to <br />the National Affordable Housing Act of 1992, copies of which as well as the Consolidated <br />Plan are on file in the office of the Community Development Department of the City of <br />Redwood City, are hereby approved. <br />2. The City Council does hereby certify that the City of Redwood City has <br />followed its adopted Community Participation Plan as required by Section 104(a) of the <br />Act. <br />3. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute and file the Application <br />and all related documents, including all understandings and assurances necessary or <br />appropriate in connection therewith, and to provide such additional information as may <br />be required for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br />4.
