A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY SETTING JUNE 25, 2018 AS THE DATE FOR THE PUBLIC HEARING ON AND ADOPTION OF THE FISCAL YEAR 2018-19 BUDGET, DIRECTING COPIES OF THE FISCAL YEAR 2018-19 BUDGET TO BE FILED WITH THE CITY CLERK, AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF THE AVAILABILITY OF THE FISCAL YEAR 2018-19 BUDGET AND THE DATE OF THE PUBLIC HEARING Section 51.5 of the City Charter requires that the City Council establish a date for a public hearing on the upcoming fiscal year budget and establish, by resolution, the date for final adoption of such budget; and the public hearing and final budget adoption date of June 25, 2018 for the fiscal year 2018-19 budget was approved in concept at the June 11, 2018 City Council meeting

06/11/2018 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 15677 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY SETTING JUNE 25, 2018 AS THE DATE FOR THE PUBLIC <br />HEARING ON AND ADOPTION OF THE FISCAL YEAR 2018-19 <br />BUDGET, DIRECTING COPIES OF THE FISCAL YEAR 2018-19 <br />BUDGET TO BE FILED WITH THE CITY CLERK, AND AUTHORIZING <br />AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF THE <br />AVAILABILITY OF THE FISCAL YEAR 2018-19 BUDGET AND THE <br />DATE OF THE PUBLIC HEARING <br />WHEREAS, Section 51.5 of the City Charter requires that the City Council <br />establish a date for a public hearing on the upcoming fiscal year budget and establish, by <br />resolution, the date for final adoption of such budget; and <br />WHEREAS, the public hearing and final budget adoption date of June 25, 2018 <br />for the fiscal year 2018-19 budget was approved in concept at the June 11, 2018 City <br />Council meeting. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. Pursuant to Section 51.5 of the Charter of the City of Redwood City, June <br />25, 2018, at 7:00 o'clock P.M., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, at City <br />Hall, the City Council Chambers, 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, California, is <br />hereby set as the time and place for public hearing on the budget for fiscal year 2018-19 <br />and also for final adoption of such budget. <br />2. The City Council directs that copies of the budget shall be filed with the <br />City Clerk for inspection by the public. <br />3. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause notice to be <br />published stating that copies of the proposed budget are available for inspection at the <br />City Clerk's office and stating the time and place at which the Council will hold a public <br />hearing. 4.
