07/23/2018 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City continues to be capable of performing the <br />functions of the Authority's Controller and still desires to do so; and <br />WHEREAS, Sections 1.16, 1.36, and 3.2 of the Agreement, designating the <br />Controller and Treasurer of the Authority, respectively, and Sections 3.3, 6.5, 6.6, and <br />6.7 of the Agreement delineating the duties and obligations of said positions, require <br />amendment to reflect the change in assignment of the Controller and Treasurer roles of <br />the Authority, to wit: the City of Redwood City will continue to be designated as and <br />perform the duties of Controller of the Authority, and the Authority will be re -designated <br />as and perform the duties of Treasurer of the Authority; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of SVCW has approved the aforesaid <br />amendments and recommends the Member Agencies of the Authority enact the <br />Supplemental Agreement hereinafter referenced; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. That certain proposed agreement by and between the Cities of Belmont, <br />San Carlos, and Redwood City, California and the West Bay Sanitary District entitled, <br />"Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement — Silicon Valley Clean Water — Supplemental <br />Agreement VIII," in the form of Exhibit "A" hereof, attached hereto and incorporated <br />herein by reference is hereby approved; <br />ATTY/RESO.0070/CC RESO SILICON VALLEY CLEAN WATER JPA AMENDMENTS RESO.
