EXHIBIT A — SCOPE OF WORK <br />A-1. Completion Date <br />City of Redwood City <br />Agreement No. D1712655 <br />Page 8 of 28 <br />The Work Completion Date is established as NOVEMBER 30, 2019. Work occurring after the Work <br />Completion Date, including corrective actions, is not eligible for reimbursement with Grant Funds and <br />cannot be paid for using Match Funds. <br />A-2. Purpose <br />This grant is for the benefit of the Recipient. This grant is for the purpose of retrofitting several streets in <br />Redwood City with curb extensions terraced with bio -retention planters, and installing a bio -retention <br />facility at Kennedy Middle School to improve storm water runoff quality, augment local groundwater <br />supplies, provide urban green space, and reduce the volume of storm water runoff and dry weather flow. <br />A-3 Project -Specific Scope of Work <br />The Recipient agrees to do the following <br />1. Project Management <br />1.1 Provide all technical and administrative services as needed for Project completion; <br />monitor, supervise, and review all work performed; and coordinate budgeting and <br />scheduling to ensure the Project is completed within budget, on schedule, and in <br />accordance with approved procedures, applicable laws, and regulations. <br />1.2 Notify the Grant Manager at least fifteen (15) working days in advance of upcoming <br />meetings, workshops, and trainings. <br />1.3 Develop and update appropriately a detailed Project schedule, including key Project <br />milestones, and submit to the Grant Manager. <br />1.4 Conduct periodic and final site visits with the Grant Manager. <br />1.5 Conduct pre-, during, and post -construction photo monitoring at the Project site and <br />submit to the Grant Manager. <br />2. General Compliance Requirements/Project Effectiveness and Performance <br />2.1 Submit Global Positioning System (GPS) information for project site($) and <br />monitoring location(s) for this Project to the Grant Manager. Submittal requirements <br />for GPS data are available at: <br />htti)://www.waterboards.ca.aov/water issues/oroarams/arants loans/grant info/doc <br />s/aps.pdf. <br />2.2 Prepare and submit an updated Project Assessment and Evaluation Plan (PAEP) <br />which describes the manner in which the Project performance will be assessed, <br />evaluated, and reported to the Grant Manager for approval. The PAEP shall detail <br />the methods of measuring and reporting Project benefits. Implementation of any <br />monitoring and performance assessment and/or evaluation actions shall not occur <br />prior to PAEP approval by the Grant Manager. <br />2.3 Measure, evaluate, and document Project performance based on the effectiveness <br />criteria in the approved PAEP.
