Project Funding <br />City of Redwood City <br />Agreement No. D1712655 <br />Page 14 of 28 <br />Subject to the terms of this Agreement, the State Water Board agrees to provide Grant Funds in the <br />amount of up to SIX HUNDRED EIGHT THOUSAND NINETY-NINE DOLLARS ($608,099). <br />B-2. Match Funds <br />(a) The Recipient agrees to provide Match Funds in the amount of SIX HUNDRED FORTY-FOUR <br />THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED SIXTY-TWO DOLLARS ($644,462). <br />(b) This Match Funds amount is based on the budget, funding sources, and amounts submitted by <br />the Recipient in its application and during the negotiation of this Agreement. Any Match Funds <br />changes or adjustments requested by the Recipient must be approved, in advance and in writing, <br />by the Grant Manager and may require an amendment to this Agreement. <br />(c) Only expenses that would be considered eligible under the Guidelines will be counted towards <br />the Recipient's Match Funds. <br />(d) Any costs incurred prior to the adoption of Proposition 1 on November 4, 2014, will not count <br />towards the Recipient's Match Funds. <br />(e) If, at Work Completion, the Recipient has provided Match Funds in an amount that is less than <br />the Match Funds amount set forth above, the State Water Board may proportionately reduce the <br />Grant Funds amount and/or the Recipient's Match Funds amount, upon approval of the Deputy <br />Director of the Division, provided the reduced amount(s) satisfy statutory requirements and <br />Guidelines. <br />B-3. Estimated Reasonable Total Project Cost <br />The estimated reasonable cost of the total Project is ONE MILLION TWO HUNDRED FIFTY-TWO <br />THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED SIXTY-ONE DOLLARS ($1,252,561). <br />B-4. Funding Dates <br />(a) The Eligible Start Date is JANUARY 1, 2018. Otherwise eligible costs incurred prior to this date <br />will not be reimbursed. <br />(b) The Final Disbursement Request Date is DECEMBER 31, 2019. The Deputy Director of the <br />Division may extend this date for good cause. Extensions may require an amendment to this <br />Agreement. All Disbursement Requests must be submitted to the Division such that they are <br />received prior to this date. Late Disbursement Requests will not be honored, and remaining <br />amounts will be deobligated. <br />B-5. Funding Conditions and Exclusions <br />The State Water Board's disbursement of Grant Funds hereunder is contingent on the Recipient's <br />compliance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement. <br />Grant Funds may not be used for any Indirect Costs. Any Disbursement Request submitted including <br />Indirect Costs will cause that Disbursement Request, in its entirety, to be disputed and will not be paid <br />until the dispute is resolved.
