8/27/2018 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND THE BOARD OF PORT COMMISSIONERS OF THE PORT OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The foregoing recitals are true and correct, are hereby incorporated herein by this reference as if fully set forth in their entirety, and constitute findings in this matter. Section 2. The Port will install the Liveaboard Improvements described in Exhibit A to support liveaboards residing at the Municipal Marina. Section 3. In making the Liveaboard Improvements, the Port will keep fully informed of all federal, state and local laws and ordinances and regulations which in any manner affect the Liveaboard Improvements and will at all times observe and comply with those laws, ordinances, and regulations. Section 4. The Port intends to complete the Liveaboard Improvements by December 31, 2018, subject to unavoidable delays due to circumstances beyond the Port's control or as required by sound practices. Section 5. During construction of the Liveaboard Improvements, live -aboard boat residents will enjoy sufficient amenities at the Municipal Marina and other facilities nearby. Section 5. The Port will keep and maintain accurate records of costs and expenses related to the making of the Liveaboard Improvements and said records will be available to City for review and copying during regular business hours at the Port's offices or as otherwise agreed upon. Section 6. The City's contribution of Four Hundred Thousand Dollars ($400,000) to the Port for the total costs of the Liveaboard Improvements will be credited against the Port's Fiscal Year 2017-2018 subvention payment to the City. This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its adoption by the City Council of the City of Redwood City and the Board of Port Commissioners of the City of Redwood City.
