01/14/2019 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 15732 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 15528 <br />REGARDING THE CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE FOR THE <br />OVERSIGHT BOARD OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />WHEREAS, the Political Reform Act of 1974, as amended (Cal. Gov. <br />Code §81000, et seq.), requires state and local government agencies to adopt <br />and promulgate a conflict of interest code; and <br />WHEREAS, on October 17, 2016, the City Council approved Resolution <br />No. 15528, thereby adopting a revised conflict of interest code for the Oversight <br />Board of the City of Redwood City and repealing prior resolutions related to <br />conflicts of interest; and <br />WHEREAS, the Oversight Board of the City of Redwood City has since <br />been dissolved and a County -wide Oversight Board created in its stead; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council now desires to repeal Resolution No.15528 <br />which set forth the prior conflict of interest code for the Oversight Board of the <br />City of Redwood City. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. Repeal. City Council Resolution No. 15528 is hereby repealed in its entirety. <br />2. Effective Date.
