More common duties include traffic direction and enforcement of event - <br />specific conditions. <br />2. Private security provided by the Permittee will include checking IDs to <br />prevent underage drinking, collecting tickets at the entry and other <br />appropriate tasks to promote order during the event. Private security <br />must be licensed and insured and provide the same indemnity <br />agreement insurance documentation as the Permittee pursuant to <br />Attachment I. <br />3. An appropriate balance between Police and private security, including <br />staffing levels will be determined by the City. <br />4. A contact person, who represents the Permittee and is listed in the <br />Permittee's application, must be at the event for its entire duration and <br />must have a copy of the Event Permit available for review. <br />SECTION 7: FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />A. Fire Department review of the application, including type of event, proposed <br />equipment, and projected attendance, will occur when reviewing the application to <br />determine if the scope of the event shall require Fire Code Permits that are handled <br />separately of this process/ordinance. Fire Code Permit Application includes, but <br />is not limited to: <br />1. Places of assembly (seventy-five (75) or more people); <br />2. Tents, canopies and temporary membrane structures; <br />3. Tent/structures equal to or greater than two hundred (200) square feet; <br />4. Canopies equal to or greater than four hundred (400) square feet; <br />5. Open flame except candles which shall be used in accordance with the <br />City's Fire Code; <br />6. Regulations for vendor and/or cooking booths; <br />7. Parade floats; and <br />8. Use of generators and propane heaters. <br />B. Afire safety officer maybe required for events that could impact fire and life safety. <br />The size of attendance and potential hazards will be evaluated by the Fire <br />Department to determine whether a fire safety officer is necessary. <br />C.
