F. Any misrepresentation in the application or deviation from the Event Permit <br />conditions may result in immediate revocation of the Event Permit and halting of <br />the event. <br />G. Issuance of an Event Permit does not exempt the Permittee from or constitute <br />compliance with: <br />Local, state or federal laws regulating service or consumption of food or <br />alcoholic beverages, or the erection of temporary structures; and <br />2. Any other applicable local, state or federal law. <br />H. Fully completed applications shall be reviewed on a first come, first serve basis. <br />Priority will be given to Redwood City sponsored or co-sponsored events, followed <br />by events that meet the purpose of Courthouse Square as defined in Chapter 33A, <br />Article III. <br />In order to preserve the nature of Courthouse Square as a public plaza, priority will <br />be given to events open to the public as opposed to those involving private or <br />exclusive use of the property. <br />For all public access events, the application deadline shall be no less than six (6) <br />months in advance of the proposed event date. No modifications to the event plan <br />will be allowed within ninety (90) days of the proposed public access event. For <br />Exclusive Use events, the application deadline shall be no less than sixty (60) <br />calendar days prior to the event date and no more than nine (9) months in advance. <br />No modifications to the event plan will be allowed within thirty (30) days of the <br />proposed Exclusive Use event. <br />SECTION 4: FINANCIAL AND LEGAL RESPONSIBILTY <br />The Permittee, its authorized representative, and/or co -promoters cited in the approved <br />application will be held financially and legally responsible for all expenses incurred by the <br />City in connection with the event. If any charges remain unpaid within sixty (60) days of <br />receipt of the City's invoice, the Permittee (individual and/or organization) may forfeit the <br />ability to rent Courthouse Square or all other City managed facilities in the future. <br />Redwood City will accept Visa, MasterCard, cash or check. For current fees and charges <br />please reference the City's Master Fee Schedule available online. <br />A. The Permittee shall pay all fees, deposits, and all appropriate charges as <br />established by resolution of the City Council. This includes an application fee, <br />permit fee, cleaning and damage deposit, and City department service fees. The <br />City will provide a cost estimate to the Permittee within thirty (30) days of receipt <br />of the application.
