From the many local knowledge-based, biotechnology, <br />and healthcare businesses to the industrial uses surrounding the Port of <br />Redwood City, this City offers a location for businesses to thrive. <br />Our neighborhoods provide diverse housing choices that can accommodate <br />people in all stages of their lives, and that allow them to be lifelong residents. <br />Our Downtown, with its beautiful historic structures and complementary new <br />development, has emerged as a local and regional center for enterprise, <br />entertainment, and excitement. Residents of Downtown and the surrounding <br />historic neighborhoods love being able to work close to home. On weekends, <br />residentsthroughout the community find time to bike, walk along the Bay Tra <br />il, and participate in activities at city parks and recreation centers. <br />1.3.2 Related Regional and Countywide Plans and Planning Documents <br />This Plan has been coordinated with the following regional stormwater <br />documents: <br />• The San Mateo County Stormwater Resource Plan (SMC SWRP). The <br />SMC SWRP was funded by State Water Resources Control Board <br />under a Proposition 1 Grant, with matching contributions provided <br />by San Mateo municipalities individually and collectively through the <br />San Mateo Clean Water Program (SMCWP). The SMC SWRP identified <br />and prioritized potential multi -benefit stormwater management <br />projects, including green infrastructure projects in watersheds and <br />jurisdictions throughout San Mateo County. Projects identified within <br />the SMC SWRP are eligible to apply for future state funding.
