L <br /> 6/3/96 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12783 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT WITH BETHSAIDA FAMILY LIVING HOME <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Bethsaida Family Living Home, ("Contractor") conducts long term <br />Transitional Housing and Training for Homeless families and families at risk of <br />becoming homeless residents of the City of Redwood City (the "Program"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br />the Program during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1995, and ending June 30, <br />1996; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood city has reviewed said request and desires to <br />allocate to Contractor, the sum of Five Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($5,000.00) from <br />its Human Services Financial Assistance funds for the foregoing purposes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented to, <br />and reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br /> <br />agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL, OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />That certain agreement entitled, "Bethsaida Family Living Home," (form dated <br />08/28/95), by and between the City of Redwood City and Bethsaida Family Living <br />Home, a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which <br />copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof is hereby authorize and <br />the City Manager and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute, and to <br />attest thereto, respectively, said Agreement for and on behalf of the City of Redwood <br />City. <br /> <br /> <br />
