May 8, 2005: The Redwood City Council approved the designation of the
Mezesville Historic residential district. Per the Historic Preservation Ordinance,
"contributing resources" (to the subject historic district) are afforded the same
level of protection and benefits as individual historic landmarks. More
specifically, contributing structures within the district are eligible for Mills Act
Contracts.

. December 31, 2006: The property owner of the property located at 702 Warren
submits a draft Mills Act/long term historic preservation plan for the subject
property.

. January 22, 2007: The HRAC reviews the draft historic preservation plan on site,
(see Attachment 1).

. February 8, 2007: The HRAC recommends approval of the proposed Mills Act
contract, revised in March 2007 (see Attachment 2).

. The HRAC nominated this dwelling as a result of the extensive and
historically compatible rehabilitation work which was done to the subject dwelling.
The owner's intent is to resume repair work on the remainder of the site and
provide for the long term maintenance of the subject property.
