<br />7A <br />Page 14 <br /> <br />Commissioner Gee asked how many Mills Act contracts there were in Redwood City and <br />how are they working so far. <br /> <br />Mr. Jany replied that Redwood City was the first City in San Mateo County to approve <br />Mills Acts and that the 7 properties which were granted individual Mills Act contracts, <br />(one which is commercial), are successfully managed and comply with the City's historic <br />preservation objectives. Mr. Jany explained that the contracts involve yearly inspections <br />by the HRAC and staff to make sure that the yearly conditions of approval are met.
