<br />Register Now for NLC Audio Conference on Gang and Youth Violence Reduction <br />Strategies <br /> <br />City officials and community leaders are invited to participate in an audio conference on <br />collaborative methods to reduce gang and youth violence. Scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 31, at <br />11 a.m., the audio conference will be hosted by the National League of Cities' Municipal Network <br />for Disconnected Youth and the National Council on Crime and Delinquency. <br /> <br />Representatives from the 13 communities involved with the California Cities Gang Prevention <br />Network will present their three-pronged strategy for responding to gang activity. Other <br />approaches to help reduce youth violence will also be featured, including the importance of strong <br />leadership, shared vision and creative financing. <br /> <br />Registration <br /> <br />Register by Friday, Oct. 26, bye-mailing Carlos Becerra at Becerra@nlc.org.
