Aranda, Assistant City Attorney <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Closed Session - Personnel [Gov't. Code ~54957] <br />Public Employee Appointment, City Clerk <br /> <br />A closed session will be held on November 5, 2007, at 6:00 PM, for the purpose of considering <br />the above-described matter. [Gov't. Code ~54957] <br /> <br />Any action taken by the City Council to appoint, employ, dismiss, accept the resignation of, <br />change the compensation of or otherwise affect the employment status of a public employee <br />shall be disclosed immediately following this closed session; provided, however, that the <br />dismissal or nonrenewal of an employment contract shall be deferred until the first public <br />meeting following the exhaustion of administrative remedies, if any. [Go v 't.
