0RIGI !JAL <br />RESOLUTION NO. 13809 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF FIRST AMENDMENT TO FUNDING <br />AGREEMENT FOR WOODSIDE ROAD WIDENING <br />PROJECT <br />(SAN MATEO COUNTY TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY) <br />1/10/00 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City and the San Mateo County <br />Transportation Authority ( "Authority ") entered into that certain agreement entitled, <br />"Funding Agreement" dated September 28, 1998, for preparation of a Project <br />Study Report for the addition of one lane in each direction of travel on Woodside <br />Road between El Camino Real and Broadway in the City of Redwood City (the <br />"Project'); and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the Funding Agreement, the Authority agreed to <br />contribute funds not to exceed $158,000 toward completion of the Project; and <br />WHEREAS, additional funds are required to complete the Project; and <br />WHEREAS, Authority has authorized allocation of an additional $43,400 <br />for the Project; and <br />WHEREAS, City and Authority desire to amend the Funding Agreement to <br />provide for the aforesaid additional allocation; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br />1.
