0RI G I il A L _ <br />RESOLUTION NO. 13810 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING <br />INSTALLATION OF SPECIAL SPEED CONTROL SIGNS <br />1/10/00 <br />WHEREAS, special informational signs pertaining to vehicular speed <br />regulation have proven to be an effective means of alerting motor vehicle <br />operators to safe driving requirements; and <br />WHEREAS, a program for the installation and use of Special Speed <br />Control /Safety Enhancement Signs has been presented to, and reviewed by, this <br />Council; and <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to approve and authorize the installation <br />of such signs in accordance with said program <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />That certain "Special Speed Control /Safety Enhancement Signs Program," <br />prepared by the Traffic Engineer and described in Report to Honorable Mayor <br />and City Council from the City Manager dated January 10, 2000, is hereby <br />approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to implement <br />said program. <br />Reso -801 <br />F/R W C/S h a red /Council /Res o <br />DES:mge <br />01/05/2000 <br />01106/2000R <br />
