1/24/00 <br />WHEREAS, in response to the advertisement for bids, bids were received <br />on the date and time set for receipt of the bids (the 'Bids "); and <br />WHEREAS, bids for certain trades are found unacceptable and re- <br />advertising for bids for these trades will be necessary; and <br />WHEREAS, the Construction Documents have been presented to, and <br />reviewed by, this Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the Bids have been presented to, and reviewed by, this <br />Council; and <br />WHEREAS, Butler, upon approval of the Construction Documents and the <br />Bids, will be ready to proceed with the Construction of Fire Station No. 11, for the <br />sum of Two Million Two Hundred Thousand Dollars ($2,200,000); and <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to signify its approval of the Construction <br />Documents, the Bids, and the amount of the Contract with Butler for the <br />construction of the Project; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. Those certain Construction Documents for the Project, prepared by <br />and for Butler, a copy of which documents are on file in the office of the City <br />Clerk, are hereby approved. <br />2.
