3/27/00 <br />ORISIPIP,L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 13857 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR RELOCATING ROSENER HOUSE <br />(ADULT DAY SUPPORT SERVICES FOR REDWOOD CITY <br />SENIORS) <br />(PENINSULA VOLUNTEERS, INC.) <br />WHEREAS, Peninsula Volunteers, Inc., (Contractor) conducts an adult day <br />support services for seniors of the City of Redwood City (the Program); and <br />WHEREAS, the existing building will be demolished and the program must <br />relocate from its current site; and <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to relocate <br />the Program commencing April 1, 2000, and ending June 30, 2000; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to <br />allocate to Contractor, the sum of Twenty Thousand and No /100 Dollars ($20,000.00) <br />from its Community Development Block Grant funds for the foregoing purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented to, and <br />reviewed by, this Council; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br />agreement and authorize its execution; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />
