- 4/24/00 <br />O R I G I N A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 13879 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE <br />PURCHASE OF ONE (1) SPARTAN 1500 GPM CUSTOM FIRE <br />PUMPER TRUCK UNDER THE COOPERATIVE PURCHASE <br />PROVISIONS OF THE CITY OF SAN JOSE'S PURCHASE <br />ORDER NO. OP21821 <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2.80 of the Redwood City Code, the City <br />of Redwood City may request any local agency as defined by Section 54201 of <br />the California Government Code to purchase materials, equipment, or supplies <br />on behalf of the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Jose's Purchase Order No. OP21821 includes <br />a Cooperative Purchase Provision which offers other public agencies the <br />opportunity to purchase equipment from Hi -Tech Fire Truck, Inc., of Oakdale, <br />California; and <br />WHEREAS, the aforesaid bid of the City of San Jose conforms to the <br />requirements of Redwood City Code Section 2.80; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to purchase one <br />(1) Spartan 1500 GPM Custom Fire Pumper Truck from Hi -Tech Fire Truck, Inc. <br />pursuant to the Cooperative Purchase Provision of the City of San Jose's <br />Purchase Order No. 21821; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />Reso -862 1 <br />FXS:djk <br />R /Shared /Redwood /Council <br />04/11/00 <br />
