O R I G I N A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 13893 <br />RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO <br />PLAN REGARDING THE DEMOLITION OF THE FISCAL <br />BUILDING, THE RESTORATION OF THE FRONT OF THE <br />HISTORICAL MUSEUM AND THE CREATION OF A PARK <br />PLAZA <br />4/24/00 <br />WHEREAS, the San Mateo County Master Plan for the County Campus <br />located within the City of Redwood City indicates that it is the County's intention <br />to demolish the Fiscal Building and the Annex located in Downtown Redwood <br />City; and <br />WHEREAS, The Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo has <br />asked the City Council of the City of Redwood City for its input regarding the <br />planning of certain areas within the County Campus; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. This Council determines that it is vitally important that the Fiscal <br />Building play a role in the Redwood City Downtown revitalization. <br />2. This Council strongly supports the County of San Mateo's plan to <br />demolish the Fiscal Building, restore the front of the Historical Museum <br />and create a park plaza. <br />3.
