0RIGINAL <br />6/5/00 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 13906 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />ACTING AS THE LEGISLATIVE BODY OF REDWOOD SHORES <br />COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 99 -1 (SHORES TRANSPORTATION <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT) OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, APPROVING <br />THE INITIAL SPECIAL TAX REPORT OF SUCH DISTRICT <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City has established Redwood Shores <br />Community Facilities District No. 99 -1 (Shores Transportation Improvement Project) of the City of <br />Redwood City (the "District ") pursuant to the Mello -Roos Community Facilities Act of 1982, as <br />amended, for the purpose of financing certain public facilities and incidental expenses; and <br />WHEREAS, as required by the Rate and Method of Apportionment for the District, there has <br />been prepared and presented at this meeting an Initial Special Tax Report of the District setting forth <br />certain information relating to the parcels within the District, the projected sources and uses of funds <br />for the District for fiscal year 2000 -01, the applicable special tax rates, and certain other information, <br />which Initial Special Tax Report this Council desires to approve; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY, A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, <br />ACTING IN ITS CAPACITY AS THE LEGISLATIVE BODY OF THE DISTRICT, AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. Approval of Initial Special Tax Report The Initial Special Tax Report of the <br />District presented at this meeting and on file with the City Clerk is hereby approved. <br />SECTION 2.
