'13912 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR FISCAL YEAR 1999 -2000 <br />CIVIC FACILITIES PAINTING PROJECT; AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND <br />DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 13869, adopted April 10, 2000, <br />the City Clerk advertised for bids for the Fiscal Year 1999 -2000 Civic Facilities <br />Painting Project in the City of Redwood City, California; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, six bids were received for the <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br />WHEREAS, Arco Painting Co. of San Francisco, California is the lowest <br />responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award said <br />bid to Arco Painting Co.; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The bid of Arco Painting Co. in the amount of One Hundred Forty -five <br />Thousand Three Hundred Seventy and No /100 Dollars ($145,370.00), computed <br />in accordance with bidder's proposal dated May 21, 2000 for Fiscal Year 199- <br />2000 Civic Facilities Painting Project, is hereby accepted and said bidder is <br />hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br />2.
